Underwater curing epoxy compounds, often called splash zone epoxies, are two part putties and pastes formulated to displace water from the substrate and cure fully while submerged or in the tidal splash zone. They are used for sealing leaks, rebuilding pitted steel, protecting pile wraps and patching hulls, pontoons, intakes and outfalls.
