Interzinc 22 is a two pack inorganic zinc silicate primer that gives outstanding corrosion and heat resistance, widely specified for structural steel and tanks.
Zinc rich primers work by galvanic action: the zinc in the film corrodes sacrificially and protects the steel beneath, even at scratches and damage. They form the first coat of the most durable anticorrosive systems and are overcoated with epoxy and polyurethane build and finish coats.
