Hilong 2FBE and 3FBE are multi layer fusion bonded epoxy systems that add an abrasion resistant overcoat above the corrosion barrier layer.
Where a pipeline faces directional drilling, rocky backfill or river crossings, a second or third FBE layer adds mechanical protection over the anti corrosion film. This keeps the barrier intact through installation, which is when most coating damage happens.
